Candidates wishing to study for the PhD EEE degree must satisfy the minimum University requirements. In addition;
Applicants shall be:
Holders of a Master of Technology in Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Master of Science in Electrical and Electronics Engineering, or any such qualification from MUT or any other institution accepted and recognized by Senate.
Deficiency
Where a doctoral applicant is deficient in areas necessary for his/her doctoral research work, as determined by the supervisor/department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering, the student shall be required to register for relevant course(s) from a relevant Master programme.
Such students shall be expected to register and pass the examination(s) in the relevant Master course(s) he/she has registered for.
