Know Us Better

The School is constituted of three main departments’ i.e. Building and Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering and Electrical & Electronics Engineering. The school offers Diplomas and Certificates in Building, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering and Automotive Engineering.

The undergraduate programmes will run for five years. For the undergraduate programmes both government and privately sponsored students will be integrated. Apart from the training a programme, the School is involved in research, consultancy and extension work. These activities are carried out at the university and/or in collaboration with other organizations and institutions nationally and internationally such Kenya- china TIVET project which is in the process of installing mechanical engineering laboratory equipment for reverse engineering and other equipment. The production unity is a key area where the knowledge and skills acquired in engineering are put to practice where engineering products are produced, e.g. Household furniture, Domestic equipment, and production of water pumps etc
