The IEEE MUT student branch was officially launched in splendor. IEEE is the world’s largest technical professional organization dedicated to advancing technology for the benefit of humanity. The launch in essence implies the MUT student community is now plugged into a versatile society that will enable its members to discover their talents, share their innovations to the world while networking with likeminded institutions. MUT is the 10th branch to be opened in Kenya and the launch was graced by officials from IEEE Kenya section as well as student branch members from Kenyatta University, Multimedia University, Mount Kenya University and the Technical University of Kenya. The event was sponsored by IEEE Kenya Section and Eco Bank Africa.
